I appreciate you taking the time to bring the Level-D out of the hanger to test for me. I'll setup a flight with a default heavy and see how I fare. My next qusetion is what is vas?Thanks again AD. Try a default heavy ( 747) and see what you get. My addons are AS16, ASCA, Traffic-X & many planes. I have a HP laptop Win 10 home, Intel quad core i3 8gb ram 750gb hard drive and on board intel graphics 1.5gb. Paul I just flew from korf to kjax with the Level D 767, I hold FPS around 25 to 30.
I'll just go back to a PMDG 737 or the Freemium 757 and give that a shot but I loved the FMC in the Level D and would love to get back in when I'm not flying around the various NAS sceneries I have and feel like driving a bus. The 767 is my favorite heavy and I absolutely loved flying the Level D back in the day.
If it isn't compatible, no point but if anyone else has it running then I have hope. I'm trying to figure out if I should just stop trying. I fly the VRS F18 primarily but will fly Dino's T-45, Carenado T-34 Mentor, Carenado B200 FSX V2. I run ActiveSky16 and FS Moving Maps and Remote Flight server to allow display for radios and auto pilot on two iPads. I run a few third party addon airports (mostly by FSDreamTeam and FlyTampa along with many freeware airports. Airline Traffic is at 73, General Aviation at 57, airport vehicle density at low. Default autogen to Dense, scenery complexity to Very Dense, special effects detail on High, Level of Detail radius Large, Mesh complexity at 75, Mesh resolution at 2M. I don't have ORBX and I run a few states of MegaScenery Earth scenery. I have FSX installed in the default C:\Program Files(x86) location (I know, I know). I'm running 5760x1080 on 3 27" monitors in virtual cockpit mode with Track iR. My system is running Windows 10 Professional, i7-4770 (non-K), EVGA GTX-1070 GPU, 32GB ram, SATA II 7,200 rpm disc drive with 900 GB free on a 2 TB drive. Trying the exact same flight setup using the Carenado T-34 I was getting around 29.5 fps (locked at 30) and VAS available was 2848568. VAS available was showing a bit over 2300000. Just the 767 at an FSX default airport in a non-MegaScenery state.all default scenery and FSX weather and it froze so badly that I had to use task manager to force quit FSX. My latest test was with no TrackiR, No FSMoving Map, No Active Sky, No iPad server. I have now made two unsuccessful attempts at re-installing my Level-D 767 and it is a slideshow each time I have tried.I'm talking 4 fps down to.
